报告人简介:

Dr. Wang received his B.S degree in biology from Sichuan University in 2003 and then pursued his Ph.Dstudy at University of Chinese Academy of Science in 2004.After obtaining his Ph.D degree from CAS in 2009, Dr. Wang moved to the University of Kansas Medical Center in US for his first postdoctoral training, where he worked on the molecular pathogenesis of enteric pathogens enterotoxigenicEscherichia coli (ETEC) and enterohaemorrhagicE. coli (EHEC), and host innate immunity. After finishing his first postdoctoral training in 2012, he decided to expand his research acumen into a new model of intracellular pathogenesis-Chlamydia in Dr. Richard Stephens lab, a leading group in the field located in University of California, Berkeley. After finishing his second postdoc training in Berkeley in 2014, he move to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School as a research fellow and expandhis research to the multidrug resistant Staphylococcus aureus with a focus of vaccine development against S. aureus caused infectious diseases.
